Independently tested at NRC 0.80 for the full-depth Arbor and NRC 0.70 for Arbor Slim. True NRC values are determined by various environment and installation factors.

Material

Real wood. Honest finish.

Real wood veneer slats over a PET acoustic felt backer. A UV coating on the wood veneer delays sun fade. Four Standard finishes (Teak, Oak, Walnut, Black Oak) plus a Reserve Collection premium line of four (Dark Walnut, Gray Oak, Smoked Oak, Washed Oak).

Install

Wall or ceiling. Six install methods.

Arbor is wall or ceiling mounted. Six installation methods are supported. For walls: direct screws, construction adhesive, or wall mounting with furring strips (for uneven walls). For ceilings: direct mounting with furring strips, T-grid mounting with screws, or T-grid mounting with drop-tiles. Each panel has Side (a) with wood laminate along the edge and Side (b) with acoustic material revealed on the edge. When installing multiple panels, Side (a) and Side (b) must touch (consistent orientation).

Direct wall mounting with screws (1.25" black drywall screws into wall anchors; screws not included) · Direct wall mounting with construction adhesive · Wall mounting with furring strips (for uneven walls).

Direct ceiling mounting with furring strips · T-grid mounting with screws · T-grid mounting with drop-tiles.
Screws
Not included. 40 lb load minimum; use screws appropriate for the surface. For a clean finish, use screws that match the color of the acoustic felt backer. Place every 16"–24" through the felt backer (not through the wood veneer).
Cutting
Box cutter for felt; circular saw for wood veneer. Use masking tape to prevent splintering.
