Why Kount needed a flexible solution
Since their 2006 founding, Kount has grown into a software giant. As a leader in the online fraud and risk management space, Kount develops technology that can analyze hundreds of bits of data when a customer makes a credit card purchase to determine if it is a valid or fraudulent transaction within 250 milliseconds. Kount’s innovative software has proven invaluable to their ecommerce partners. And with the ecommerce marketing booming, the need for Kount’s solutions are only growing.
To sustain and fuel this growth, Kount needed a new headquarters that could adapt and grow with them.
“Through a robust user engagement process to kick-off the project, Cushing Terrell was able to get to the heart of what Kount was looking for in their new world headquarters in downtown Boise,” said Randi Thomas, IIDA, NCIDQ, an Interior Designer with Cushing Terrell. “Our design intent was to provide modern and inviting spaces that are filled with natural light and clever installations – all to inspire growth and innovation.”
Staying true to their Boise roots, Kount chose to renovate the 100-year-old downtown Langroise Building as their future global headquarters. However in keeping growth and flexibility as design priorities, Kount knocked down the interior walls that segmented the historic building and opted for repositionable room dividers to segment their space. By utilizing moveable partitions, Kount ensured their environment would never limit their growth.
As Kount’s employee needs change, their office can change with them. When Kount needs more software engineers, they can move their Web Walls to allow for more desk clusters. When Kount needs a larger meeting space, they can reposition their Framewalls to allow for more breathing room. Regardless of their needs, Kount has positioned themselves for easy, lasting growth.
